Sales Manager

Summit Search Group has partnered with an established, progressive leader in the lumber industry. Located in Acheson, Alberta, the Sales Manager will play an integral role of increasing the northern Alberta market share. Partnering with the General Manager, you will be developing client relationships in addition to establishing, developing and growing the sales team in northern Alberta. The successful candidate brings a strong background in wholesale lumber, in addition to demonstrated leadership skills.

 Responsibilities

Develop and maintain current client relationships, and nurture new relationships within northern Alberta Implement business development strategies and coordinate efforts to maximize sales in the region Recruit, hire, onboard and train new sales representatives Establish sales targets by forecasting and developing quotas for regions Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture market share

 Requirements

Degree in relevant discipline Must have wholesale lumber experience Proven track record in sales and marketing development Extensive contact network within western Canada’s lumber industry Professional attitude and superior verbal and written communication skills Self-reliant, self directed and can work well under minimum supervision Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational skills Demonstrated leader with the ability to grow sales teams

Remuneration

Commensurate upon experience, base salary of $110,000 – 150,000 in addition to bonus.
