Job Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Present and sell company products and service to current and potential clients.Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.Manage account service through quality checks and other follow-up.Identify and resolve client concerns.Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.Comply with Lancaster Foods, Inc. policies and procedures.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

High School Diploma/GED required.  Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related degree preferred.    Ability to operate a variety of powered industrial trucks. Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team leader; ability to problem-solve.Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit for up to 8 hours a day, talking on a phone and working on a computer.    Withstanding temperature extremes in indoor and outdoor environments. Reading and writing work-related documents in English.Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication.

Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, among others).
