Sales Manager
This role is crucial for managing and delivering customer service and support, ensuring profitable sales revenue that meets established metrics through efficient and targeted sales activities. In addition to training and managing the sales team, this position will be responsible for nurturing vendor relationships, providing guidance on marketing ideas and campaigns, and developing strategies for new business growth. Furthermore, this role is expected to meet individual sales goals.  What You Will Do:  E mployee development and growth within the sales team: + Support individuals pursuing growth and advancement within an environment of learning. + Develop individual sales goals and professional growth plans with each member of the Sales Department. + Develop subject matter experts within all disciplines supported by Absco. + Oversee each salesperson and monitor individual sales activities periodically in support of quality assurance. + Coordinate and resolve all required items and issues relating to human resources within the department. + Develop and maintain a productive and profitable sales department. Development/management of process to ensure consistent experience and deliverables: + Create sustainable processes that are clear, complete, and meet the goals of the Department while, aligning with company culture, mission, and values. + Ensure external and internal customers receive appropriate support consistently that meets or exceeds expectations. + Maintain a sales pipeline in alignment with historical data factors at a level that will produce the required sales revenues. + Core Responsibilities include but not limited to (continued): + Coordinate with Operations and manage outcomes for estimating and proposal services provided to customers: + Coordinate contract review and bid bonding. + Provide consultation and planning services to external customers. + Review and approve prepared project bids. Collaboration with and support of other areas internally as it relates to technical, design, and information technologies: + Attend and provide input / reports at requested company meetings. + Coordinate with Marketing Manager relating to implementation of external customer marketing and business development activities. + Provide contracted labor sales in line with labor capacity budgets + Performance Metrics in line with overarching company objectives Other: + Maintain projected sales revenue at established margins as agreed on by the CEO and President. + Ensure the Sales Department follows all applicable corporate policies and procedures. + Manage sales expenses to approved budget. + Expand customer base within target markets and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. + Provide consistent positive results for sales services and deliverables. + Travel of approximately 5 or more nights per month, as required. + Manage and improve subcontractor and vendor relationships. + Ensure external and internal customers receive appropriate support consistently that meets or exceeds expectations. Physical Requirements : + Ability to operate a motor vehicle. + Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a computer, keying and reading content.   + Will be required to stand, reach, bend, twist, squat, and move about freely in an office environment. + Able to lift up to 25 lbs.   + Able to use common office equipment such as phone, copier, printer, etc. What to Expect We offer a professional and fun work environment.
