Job Description: Sales Manager, Germany
Purpose
To drive the NaughtOne brand and market share throughout Germany, working closely with Architects & Designers, Dealers and Clients to raise awareness and understanding of the NaughtOne product portfolio and brand. The Sales Manager will develop sales strategies to win new accounts and manage existing clients and will work with colleagues from both within NaughtOne and across the wider MillerKnoll group to maximise sales opportunities
Responsibilities/Key Deliverables
Grow sales through Architects & Designers, Dealers and Clients and work with the European Sales Manager to develop strategies and an events programme to deliver against sales target and key KPIs.Key member of the NaughtOne Europe Sales team fostering a culture of affinity & loyalty for NaughtOne within the broader influencer groups, i.e. MillerKnoll Sales, A&D, Dealers, End UsersDeveloping knowledge, understanding and manage relationships with key A&D accounts & dealers in your territoryProvide inspiring coaching and training on NaughtOne products (internally & externally)Work as an ambassador to develop opportunities for the NaughtOne brand across the wider MK groupProduce sales plans and strategies to support growth targets and work with internal teams to deliver resources/materials required to grow the businessCreate excitement and engagement when new products launchPart of the team, identifying barriers to growth and working to create solutions to develop opportunities in each sector – Office, Hospitality, Healthcare & Education.Core Competencies
Successful sales track record; ideally 5 +years sales experience of successful contract / capital goods industries coupled with sales & training experience.A proven track record in creating or executing a clear sales strategy that delivers results.Experience, knowledge & understanding of the contract interiors market; if not furniture, Flooring, Fabrics, Lighting etcAbility to analyse market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunitiesCRM system experience preferred, such as SalesforceStrives to proactively address customer needs & to provide consistent high levels of customer service using high level written & oral communication skillsAn organised self-starter with excellent problem solvingProven expertise in the principles of collaborative sales techniquesSolid analytical skills in identifying client needs and aligning them to product offeringsExcellent interpersonal & presentation skills with the ability to communicate to audiences of all sizes and maintain positive relationships with all NaughtOne clients & customersMethodical, hard-working, ambitious & energetic; must be results oriented with a passion for great designAbility to work independently and in a team environment is essentialDimension of role
Reporting to the European Sales Manage the successful role holder must be based commutable for all major German cities & for travel throughout Germany, Austria & Switzerland. A valid driving license is essential and you must be fluent in both German & English.
