Position Summary:
The Sales Manager works closely with the Sales Executives (internal and field-Sales Knot), coaching, consulting, and developing. Helping to reinforce the Kemper Auto Sales model (coaching), Guiding the SE in optimizing decisions around sales activities (consulting), and shepherding the team of SE’s to continue individual growth. Ultimately, the Sales Manager is guiding the Sales Knot toward executing on and accomplishing the defined objectives. This position requires regular travel in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales employee hiring, training, and development to ensure a productive and effective sales team is working together on initiatives in support of overall company goals. Effective leadership, communication and collaboration with various departments and support functions are critical to this role. This position will cover the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area including regular travel.
Position Qualifications:
Five plus years of sales management in the P&C industry preferred. Commerical Auto Lines experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.Knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.Required to possess effective communication skillsMust be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter. Ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets.Highly skilled and effective at time management. Should possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills and be a logical problem solver This position is a remote role. Work can be conducted out of a home office in the DFW area. The qualified candidate will need to be able to travel within the area regularly. Sponsorship is not accepted for this opportunity.The range for this position is $87,400 to $150,200. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
