Sales Manager
Description Rachel Miller at Robert Half is partnering on an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager in Albany, New York. This role focuses on directing and coordinating sales activities within our organization. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in implementing strategic sales plans, conducting sales forecasting, and managing customer needs analysis. Responsibilities: • Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to align with corporate objectives. • Conduct sales forecasting activities and establish performance goals accordingly. • Analyze market trends to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. • Direct and coordinate sales operations by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. • Assign sales territories to sales representatives and monitor their performance. • Evaluate sales statistics to develop policies that enhance sales performance. • Coordinate and simplify product line to eliminate unprofitable items. • Represent our organization at trade association meetings to network and promote our products. • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in collaboration with sales representatives. • Manage key client relationships, assist sales representatives in negotiating and closing deals. • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competitors in the industry. • Analyze and control division expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. • Evaluate sales compensation to ensure alignment with corporate strategic goals and required performance *** For confidential consideration, please reach out to Rachel Miller via LinkedIn or Apply directly Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Sales Management • Proven experience in Product Sales • Proficiency in using Sales Management Systems • Strong Customer Service skills • Ability to generate and analyze KPI Reports • Excellent leadership and team management abilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to handle pressure and meet sales targets • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing abilities • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus • Willingness to keep up with new product sales and market trends.
