Job Summary

If you are a Sales Management professional looking to advance your career, Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in Singapore, the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and plans in order to achieve sales targets.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Directs sales coverage and develop business in Singapore for Isolation valves, establishing profitable and sustainable growth. Establish country plan and implement growth initiatives which includes targeted project opportunities, core market share growth and penetration of new customer accounts. Leads and develops a team of field sales, and align pursuit strategies with Indoor Sales Support team Provides accurate and punctual monthly forecasting reports to drive business goals and objectives. Coverage includes EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Engineering, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and end users, serving the process industry such as oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, renewables, life science, semiconductor. Work closely with the business unit of Isolation Valves, and other business units in Singapore to collaborate on key project pursuits and manage key accounts.

For This Role, You Will Need:

7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in Valves or related industry Well organized, possess strong business acumen, and analytical skills to lead the team, and work effectively with country and Asia Pacific management. Strong leadership and communication skills to lead a team to achieve business objectives and sales target. Ability to strategically prioritize and suitably adapt and improve on sales team’s strategic approach as and when necessary to focus on high value and likely to win opportunities/accounts. Resourceful and experienced in leveraging on internal resources to enhance team’s overall effectiveness. Always staying abreast on industry updates and maintains solid and current knowledge of new product launch/updates.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Preferably 2 to 3 years sales team management experience.
