About the role
The Sales Manager leads a team in providing solutions to customers in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and biotech sectors. This includes areas such as pharmaceutical manufacturing and compounding, research and laboratory, biotechnology and drug development, cell and gene therapy, clean room environments, and their manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for developing sales plans and budgets to achieve sales goals through various sales channels, as well as hiring, training, and developing each team member to reach their full potential.
What You Will Do:
Develops sales plans and budgets to achieve and surpass sales goals with a profitable margin.Manages a team of account managers, including resource allocation and team development.Provides overall leadership for regional sales and business development activities by planning and recommending sales strategies and action plans.Maintains customer relationships to sell the organization’s products/services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.Builds and manages relationships and trust with customers, distributors, external thought leaders, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.Provides timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision-making and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline.What are the requirements?
Bachelor's degree in a science, business or technically related discipline like Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, etc5-7 years’ experience working in sales experienceFluent in English.Demonstrated relationship management & consultative selling aptitude.Customer service skills with the ability to problem solve and devise customer solutions.Self-motivated with effective organizational/time management skillsAbility to target accounts and achieve results through an action plan.Proficiency in MS Office suite, CRM systems.Flexibility for travelling more than 50% of the working time.Valid driver's licenseWhat’s in it For You:
