The Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the total sales effort of their assigned market, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of Fantasyland Hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following.

Primary Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market reach. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and banquets to ensure alignment of sales and customer service efforts. Ability to track performance against goals and adjust activities accordingly. Responsible for preparing a targeted action plan. Meet with prospective and existing clients to increase group bookings within the assigned market. Represent the hotels during in and out of town sales trips and act as a representative on professional committees. Supply weekly and monthly reports as required to the Director of Sales and Catering. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Desired Qualifications: Completion of a post secondary education in hospitality, sales, or a related field. Three (3) – five (5) years of proven experience in a hotel sales role – preferably with a large conference hotel. Strong understanding of hotel software systems including OPERA or similar. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Terms of Employment: This is a full-time position that is required Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5pm with occasional evening and weekend flexibility. A valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for commuting to and from sales calls and office visits. This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
