Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global OrganizationThe Sales Manager position for our Honeywell Enterprise Fire Products business is based in Mumbai and reports to the Enterprise Business Leader. Key Responsibilities As a National Leader for Business Development & Strategic Initiatives, the Sales Manager position is responsible for: · Identifying Business White Spaces: Focus on specifying and uncovering blind spots or white spaces in the business and fulfilling those unmet needs to drive business growth. · Driving Incremental Business: Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to generate recurring business through Key Accounts and Large Projects across all major verticals. This should result in incremental business beyond the already established revenue base, with a focus on maintaining healthy margins. · Upselling and Cross-Selling: Strategically focus on upselling and cross-selling within existing customer accounts to maximize revenue and expand customer partnerships. · Regional Business Development: Lead all business development activities across India and SAARC regions, collaborating with the BD/KAM team to ensure success. · Funnel & Revenue Optimization: Focus on key verticals to identify blind spots, improve the sales funnel and convert opportunities into revenue growth. Business Management · Drive Management Operating System (MOS): Ensure strong and consistent application of MOS to enhance operational performance and achieve business targets. · Develop direct report management by setting clear goals and objectives. · Accurately forecast and achieve business revenue and P&L objectives. · Drive specifications through strong engagement with consultants and stakeholders. · Ensure customer success and satisfaction. · Communicate and execute corporate strategies across the region. · Ensure consistent business processes and practices across the region. · Define team boundaries, census and quotas. · Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures. · Establish and manage an internal network at multiple levels, including executives. · Establish and implement both short-term and long-term business plans. · Actively participate in geographical strategy planning. · Create and maintain cross-functional success. · Foster executive relationships with the top 10 accounts. · Personally engage in key sales opportunities. · Establish and maintain strong peer networks and leverage best practices. Leadership & People Management · Lead and motivate the BD & KAM team to achieve business results through effective coaching and implementation of management operating systems (MOS). · Provide inspiring leadership and vision to the Enterprise Team, driving them to achieve peak performance. · Build strong, trust-based relationships with managers, supporting them in key business areas such as supply chain, customer support and day-to-day management. · Facilitate the success of the team and individuals through coaching, mentoring and efficient onboarding of new hires. · Ensure consistent people management practices across the region, with ongoing focus on succession planning. · Exemplify Honeywell behaviors. · Drive development plans for all top talents through individual development plans, mentoring and skip-level meetings.You Must Have · An Engineering Degree or equivalent graduate qualification, preferably accompanied by an MBA. · Strong knowledge of office automation products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). · A minimum of 8 years of experience in related industries, including at least 3 years of people management experience. · At least 5 years of field sales management experience, with exposure to the Fire/Security line of business. · An established track record in managing organizational change and business transformation. · Strong financial acumen, with experience in setting and achieving targets/KPIs and reporting on these KPIs.
