Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager this position will report to the Sales General Manager and the preferably location is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

 

Your main responsibilities are:
• Develop, manage, and assume accountability for sales activities among customer accounts for ship-owner sales team, and shipyards in Latin America.
• Manage the new building sales-activities and customer relationships to reach sales targets and customer satisfaction on a consultative sales base.
• Tactical: Promote and support solutions and products following processes and standards based on the organization strategy- Capable to set short- to mid-term sales plans.
• Maintain and further develop own customer portfolio relationships.
• Co-Create Account Plans for major customers (AAA, AA), execute the plan, and update changes throughout the year with Lifecycle Sales Team.
• Develop and maintain Customer Satisfaction (CEM).
• Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information.
• Propose customer-specific sales target based on market outlook, identified opportunities, and strategy.
• Create, maintain and manage all customer visit reports and opportunities in CRM.
• Maintain accurate customer records among assigned customer accounts.
• Ensure that customer inquiry, orders, and complaints are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
 
You will shine in this role when you have:
• Extensive and strong experience in sales for marine industry.
• Bsc/Msc Engineering/Machinery or Business Administration with MBA in Strategy are preferred.
• Excellent commercial and negotiation capabilities
• Experience in successfully working with various stakeholders to deliver on customer expectation in international company;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, proficient Spanish that can be used as working language;
• Knowledge of Salesforce and CRM
