What you will do as a Sales Manager

Take pro-active activities to increase enquiry levels and conversion.Manage a portfolio of accounts by continuously build on client relationships while keeping with the hotel culture and approach to maintain a high level of loyalty.Prospect, quote, negotiate and contract for groups and events enquiries.Conduct site visits, offsite client meetings and presentations, fam trips and networking events.Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads and ensure contribution to the overall hotel sales strategy.Proficient in using various sales tools and platforms.Understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.Ability to close sales and create lasting customer relationships.Work with Hyatt Colleagues globally to support and maximize opportunities locally and for other Hyatt hotels worldwide.Ensure all Sales systems and bookings are kept up to date maintained in line with company standards.Ensure that all accurate records are kept of all events and that payment and other contractual and legal agreements are adhered to.Design and implement a strategic sales plan with the support of the Commercial Team, that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence in the market.Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.Analyze with the support of the Director of Sales and Marketing and Revenue Manager new and existing leads to ensure they are being effectively managed.Using market intelligence reports and working with third parties, identifying opportunities within your market segment, assessing the potential for new business.
