Overview The Sales Manager woudl plays a key role in driving business growth and achieving company sales targets. This position involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and managing relationships with both potential and existing clients. The Sales Manager will actively participate in client meetings, assist with building a strong customer base, and contribute to the team’s overall success. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Efficiently generate and qualify leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential clients. RFP & Lead Response: Respond promptly to incoming RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and leads for current and future years, ensuring timely and professional follow-ups. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Site Inspections: Organize and conduct property site inspections, showcasing the full range of services and offerings to prospective clients. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate group contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and business objectives. Proposal Development: Assist in preparing and presenting sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs. Sales Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and track sales activities, client interactions, and performance, providing insights to the team to help achieve targets. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to provide recommendations for operational improvements and new business strategies. Administrative Support: Manage client databases, schedule meetings, and assist in preparing sales presentations and reports. Lead Conversion: Follow up with leads and clients to ensure successful conversions and contribute to closing sales deals. Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery. Sales Goal Achievement: Meet sales goals and targets set by the Director of Sales and Marketing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Qualifications Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry. Computer Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of Delphi/FDC Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $70,000.00/Yr. - $75,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
