Your Role: As Sales Manager in Life Science’s Science & Lab Solutions Commercial Czech Republic Slovakia region, you will be responsible for leading and directing the sales team or group of sales teams to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth. Additionally, the role entails providing leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team and your sales managers to ensure effective performance and customer satisfaction. Your work will enable our vision of partnering with customers to focus on accelerating science. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales and Revenue Growth: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed company sales targets and expand the customer base. Leadership: Leading, coaching, and managing the sales team and your sales managers to achieve individual and team and your groups targets including setting specific sales targets. Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and markets to drive revenue growth. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular engagement and effective communication while encouraging your team teams to excel in customer intimacy.Performance and Market Analysis: Analyzing sales data and market trends & competitors to develop insights and propose targeted counter actions. Collaboration: Collaborating with scientific sales, marketing, product management, customer service, supply chain, account receivables and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Compliance Management: Ensures compliance or supports development of regulations, instructions and procedures resulting from the requirements of the global and local quality management system.     

Who You Are: 

Educational Background: Master's degree in science, business, or a related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Performance: Track record of exceeding sales targets. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies, customer relationship management, market analysis, and corporate procedures and policies (e.g. HR).  Travel: Home based close to or within Prague area of responsibility with ability and willingness to travel as needed to support sales activities. Driver’s license required. 

Skills: 

Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and managing Ability to motivate and inspire (remote) sales teams to achieve targets and drive business growth.  Financial Awareness: Ability to understand financial data and implications of different decisions on financial performance. Coaching: Enabling your team and managers with your knowledge and expertise and developing talent to create high performing teams. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain productive professional relationships with the customers in focus. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as other relevant EMEA languages, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively. Analytical Thinking: Ability to extract and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior from relevant systems to make informed business decisions. Digital Tools: Proficient in digital tools and CRM systems to enhance sales processes and analyze performance, with the ability to train team members for improved efficiency. Organizational: Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple sales initiatives and teams simultaneously.
