Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive and develop the sales performance of Analytical business, specialized in Process Analyzers and Continuous Emission Monitoring in Spain & Portugal, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy. Each day, you will define, plan, lead and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems and services, to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. The work model for the role is: hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation – Measurements and Analytics, specialized in Process Analyzers and Continuous Emission Monitoring in Spain.You will be mainly accountable for:• Working with gas and liquid analyzer markets in several industries• Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them• Coordinating the information flow around sales activities and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales• Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale• Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks• Building a robust sales organization through best practices, training and cross-collaboration• Dealing with channel partners/distributors and EPCs• Leading front-end sales and sales support teamsYou will join a high performing and talented team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleA Chemistry / Chemistry Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree 5-10 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, working as Sales Manager within the industrial market Proficient level of Spanish and high level of English are needed Knowledge of CGA-CEMS, QAL certificate, hydrogen and GNL business and process analyzers Extensive experience in segment markets of analytical business, business development, account management and cross-selling A clear understanding of contract negotiations, risk management and commercial and legal terms Abilities for team leadership and people development Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude
