Sales Manager - Crab

The Role

We are in search of a Sales Manager. The position oversees the development of sales and customer management.  This position works closely with a variety of stakeholders including sales, processing plants, warehousing facilities, accounting, IT, logistics and other various support staff. 

This is a remote position. We are looking for individuals that reside in the city or region central to the crab industry.

Responsibilities:

Analyze system data and troubleshoot day-to-day customer sales, orders and pricingSupport our sales director with new and existing customer opportunitiesDetermine and communicate new selling options to customersAnalyze critical processes and lead continuous improvement initiativesLiaise with customers and our internal production planningOrder management while assisting logistics to ensure that product arrives to customers

Skills and experience required: 

7+ years of experience working in a seafood company with specific focus and exposure to the crab industryBachelor’s degree in Business or MarketingExperience selling crab and other crustaceansExperience calling on/selling to larger regional chain customers retail, food service or distributors
