The Role

We are in search of a Crab & Scallops Sales Manager. The position oversees the development of sales and customer management. This position works closely with a variety of stakeholders including sales, processing plants, warehousing facilities, accounting, IT, logistics and other various support staff. 

This is a remote position. We are looking for individuals that reside in the United States or Canada central to the seafood industry.

Responsibilities:

Analyze system data and troubleshoot day-to-day customer sales, orders and pricingSupport our Managing Director with new and existing customer opportunitiesDetermine and communicate new selling options to customersAnalyze critical processes and lead continuous improvement initiativesLiaise with customers and our internal production planningOrder management while assisting logistics to ensure that product arrives to customersActively hunt for new business opportunities.Leverage existing contacts and develop new relationships to expand market reachNegotiate and close deals, aiming to meet and exceed sales targetsUnderstand and keep up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitorsWork closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that align with consumer needs and preferencesDevelop and expand the company’s presence in national territories

Skills and experience required: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing7+ years proven experience as a Seafood Sales Representative, with specific experience selling Crab & ScallopsExceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of hunting and securing new businessAbility to operate on a national scale, with multi-channel sales experience.Excellent communication and presentation skills
