Sales Manager - General Trade

• Ensure that the distribution target for the general trade channel set by the Management for each key and seeding brands are constantly monitored and achieved.
• Responsible in achieving group’s annual sales targets, retail pricing objectives, product listing, positioning and merchandising objectives are met.
• Lead and set individual targets for the off-trade sales executives and to ensure and support the team in the achievement of these
• Establish a strong working relationship across all regional distributors and wholesalers and creates a development plan for the top customers to drive growth for the channel
• Build and cultivate good relationships with General Trade customers in order to improve brands/sku listing target, product positioning, pricing objectives and trade promotions
• Work closely with Trade Marketing in implementing promotional activities and provide feedback on promotion effectiveness and make recommendations where necessary.
• Closely coordinate with supply chain team in preparing for the consolidated monthly/annual forecasts of orders of the distributors and wholesalers and ensure that adequate stocks to sell.
• Evaluate types, quantity and arrange delivery of POS materials required at each account in coordination with Marketing and Trade Marketing.
• Responsible for proposing selling prices and profitability of new Pernod Ricard SKU’s to be carried and/or launched in the domestic channel.
• Immediately alert the Management of any changes in the market with particular attention on GMA stocks.
• Submit the following weekly/monthly sales reports to Head of Sales - weekly/monthly sales performance versus target, retail/wholesale price surveys and relevant competitive update reports.
• Collect data and provide constructive feedback on category trends in his/her channel and effectiveness of promotions implemented.
• Supervise group sales administrative roles; prepare sales order, credit application form and follow-up on order/shipment delivering.
• Oversee timeliness of off premise executive’s collection of account receivables with all direct outlets.
• Strict compliance and implementation of Pernod Ricard’s SNR (sustainably & responsibly) program.
