Qualifications & Experience:
\n\nMinimum of two years of hotel experience in guest contact areas.\nPrevious sales experience is preferred.\nKnowledge of the Orlando market is a plus.\n\n\n
Skills:
\n\nStrong negotiation and communication skills.\nAbility to develop and execute sales plans. \nExcellent time management and organizational skills. \nProficiency with Delphi/Salesforce is preferred.\n\n\n
What will I be doing?
\n\nAs a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nRespond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food, and beverage services, etc.\nInitiate new sales, prospect, and qualify leads, and solicit potential clients. \nHost and entertain clients and maintain client accounts. \nConduct property site visits and answer questions. \nDetermine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts, and analyze lost business for the hotel(s). \nDevelop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals. \nPartner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts. #LI-AT3\n\n
