Lifecycle Services Sales Manager:
Job Summary:
Responsible for driving the sales and growth of lifecycle services within the Installed Base of Gas Chromatographs, Gas & Liquid Analyzers, Spare Parts management. This includes handling the sales of Service Agreements, Upgrades, Calibration, Maintenance, Asset management, and other lifecycle solutions. The role requires a combination of technical expertise in instrumentation and strong sales capabilities to develop long-term customer relationships, provide consultative services, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the product and service lifecycle.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to promote lifecycle services for installed base, including Maintenance Contracts, Calibration services, Upgrades, Repair services, and Parts. Drive the sales pipeline for lifecycle services from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and nurture positive relationships with key decision-makers and team members within customer organizations. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering tailored solutions to meet their lifecycle service needs. Proactively manage and grow customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Technical Expertise & Consultative Selling: Leverage deep technical knowledge of instrumentation (Gas and Liquid Analyzers) to understand customer challenges and provide valuable solutions. Conduct service presentations, and technical discussions to effectively communicate the benefits of lifecycle services. Analyze customer requirements and recommend customized service agreements based on the specifics of their instrumentation and operational needs. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, proposal generation, and contract negotiation. Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to senior management, tracking key performance metrics, opportunities, and progress toward sales targets. Utilize CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and customer interactions efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate records.Who You Are? 5+ years of sales experience in Analytical Products and Systems in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries, with a focus on selling lifecycle services (e.g., maintenance, calibration, upgrades, asset management).
For This Role, You Will Need: Graduate Engineer with Degree level in field like, Instrumentation, Petroleum or, equivalent. Experience in Microsoft application (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Instrumentation and Oil & gas Industry knowledge Strong business skills & commercial awareness Ability to communicate and deliver the business-based value messages
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Having worked for Process analytical products or system in O&G &/or Refinery & Petrochemical industry Instrumentation Long Term Service Agreements Selling/Knowledge in Off-shore Oil & Gas customers in French Speaking or West Africa will be added advantage.
