Job Description

We are looking for you, a Sales Manager (m/f/diverse), to support our area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at our site in Northeim. 

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

Defining, developing and executing acquisition strategy and achieving agreed order intake targets for assigned customer(s) and assigned segmentExecuting all sales activities to achieve/improve target margins of existing businessExecuting all tasks within sales process from G10-G110: (Pre-acquisition, Negotiation Phase, Project Development Phases, Serial Sales, Spare Part Sales)Overall Sales Responsibility for assigned customers and tasksCustomer strategy and relationshipRFQ Process and New Business quotationsCustomer requirements and technology trendsCompetitive Intelligence; Pricing, Margin Improvement; Claim management; Customer ContractsFocusing on results: Sales Reporting, FC, Budget, StratPlanHandling customer issues and concernsAssuring teamwork with OESL functions to support our customers

QualificationsAcademic degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or Economics / B2B Marketing or similar qualificationSeveral years experience in sales and/ or engineering and/ or project management in automotive business preferredOE Customer Relationship and Key Account Management experienceSales Project Management and Business Processes knowledgeOE Customer relevant standards, processes and toolsStrategic knowledge and understandingGood Commercial and Financial KnowledgeContract and legal knowledgeFluent German and business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)Technical knowledgeProblem-solving and good analytical skillsGood negotiation and presentation skillsEnthusiasm, high motivation and entrepreneurial spirit as well as solution focused
