\n\nWhat will I be doing?\nAs a Sales Manager at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek & Waldorf Astoria Orlando, you will represent the hotels in developing and managing client relationships for moderate-sized groups requiring 75–300 guest rooms. Your role involves coordinating the sales process from lead generation to contract execution, while ensuring high standards of service and revenue growth.
\nPosition Summary:
\n\nSales Solicitation: Solicit and respond to leads from prospective clients by phone and in-person conversations. Target moderate-sized groups requiring guest rooms, meeting space, and on-site catering services.\nClient Relations: Meet with and entertain current and potential customers to build and maintain strong relationships, respond to inquiries, and understand client needs.\nProposals and Contracts: Prepare proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective customers of guest room rates, meeting space availability, banquet dates, and pricing. Calculate and quote prices within hotel guidelines.\nClient Qualification: Qualify inquiries and client requests to align with strategic goals, and understand customer buying needs to tailor offerings accordingly.\nCustomer Service: Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services to meet customer needs, from accommodations to catering.\nSite Inspections: Conduct site inspections with potential clients, showcasing guest rooms, meeting space, banquet facilities, and other hotel amenities.\nSales Meetings: Attend weekly sales departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, including tentative review, lost business review, and group pick-up discussions.\n\nCore Responsibilities:
\n\nRespond to leads for guest room, meeting space, and catering inquiries.\nPrepare customized proposals and negotiate contract terms to maximize hotel profitability.\nHost site visits to familiarize prospective clients with the property and its offerings.\nBuild and nurture long-term client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.\nAnalyze and report lost business, reviewing reasons to improve future sales efforts.\nCollaborate closely with hotel operations to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.\n\nTo fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
\n\nMinimum Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred\nMinimum Years of Experience: Minimum of two years of Hotel experience in guest contact areas. Previous sales experience preferred.\nAdditional Requirements: Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes.\nHighly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.\nWhat are we looking for?
