Job Description

The Team Leader and Professional Sound Sales Manager of our brands Electro-Voice and Dynacord grows together with the local Middle East sales team business above market, focusing himself on Install accounts and Install market in the MEA region, develops sales strategies and ensures implementation. With strong focus on market trends and core verticals the manager creates demand and increases sales. Creating project leads through smart business development in coordination with local key customers and early involvement with large end-users and major influencer groups is the engine for repeating success. An agile and lean project management, quotation- and essential technical support for regional customers in combination with a strong hunting mindset completes the profile.

Electro-Voice & Dynacord Middle East Sales Team LeadSales management in Install market segmentActively manage customer structure in the region (customer pyramid)Ensure sales targets by increasing share of wallet with existing customers and in existing business, identifying additional business opportunities (e.g. cross-selling) or developing potential new ones in the regionConduct regular customer visits and establish close relationship with customers in the regionTake over local business development activities in the region to support local customer base Work closely with technical support team, marketing and product management to ensure that local projects are covered properly in all stagesProvide feedback on market trends, customer/end-user needs and support collection of competitor information (portfolio as well as industries)Insert customer related data such as account information, activities, opportunities regularly into CRM and make use of available CRM data and reports to follow-upTimely inform supply chain on extraordinary demand (e.g. special sales initiatives, big projects) which is not covered by regular forecastSupport cross-border opportunitiesCooperate with local field sales engineer team and assist customers in technical concepts, system designs for dedicated product solutions and projectsProactively drive projects in the sales phase within the customer JourneyParticipate in trade shows and share information on products and services

QualificationsAt least 5 years of sales experience with a focus on Install market segment At least 5 years of experience in leadershipTeam player with strong hunting mindset and motivation  Strong customer focus Strong understanding of the Professional A/V and Installed Sound applications and corresponding verticalsUnderstanding of Installed Sound solutions incl. acoustics, electronics, DSP, digital audio networking and room control including serial and IP communicationsAbility to read and interpret project floor plans and system flow line drawingsStrong ability to develop distributor, reseller, integrator, and consultant relationships through interpersonal communicationsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal in fluent EnglishAdditional regional MEA languages like Arabic, etc. is an advantageNegotiation and presentation skillsAnalytical competency and PC skillsAbility to plan, organize and follow through/implement activities to achieve timely, accurate results, focusing on key priorities and effectively juggling multiple projectsUp to 75% travel (majorly regional) requiredExisting channel and consultant relationships are valued
