Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Hyatt Centric Melbourne

Based on site in Melbourne CBD, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Sales Marketing team, responsible for gaining future clients, fostering long-lasting relationships with clients and guests whilst ensuring that our marketing campaigns, events and corporate booking come to life.

Work closely with both Sales and Marketing Managers and DirectorsUpkeep of digital and social media platforms, and assist with both promotional and sponsorship requestsTo work with the graphic designer and print supplier to bring marketing campaigns to life with impactful visual content. To work with the Food Beverage team to develop compelling offers, while also conducting competitor analysis to ensure our promotions stay competitive and innovative.Seek creative sponsorship and partnership opportunities reflective of the Hyatt Centric brandImplement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase room and corporate bookings, events, and extending our market reachProvide administrational support to the food and beverage department and assist in creating digital marketing assets, designing menus and collateral Efficient handling of Sales enquiries into the department and prompt issuing of quotes and contracts using our Envision softwareAssist with the follow up on sales leads and conducting site inspections of the hotelDevelop long-lasting relationships with the clients that you work with a on a day to day basis

About you:

To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:

Previous work experience in hotel sales and marketing is advantageousA creative aptitude to actively incorporate a sense of originality into both the sales and marketing sectors Experience with InDesign, Canva, and a solid understanding of design specifications are highly advantageous.Strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills A solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques Ability to create a positive first impression with relevant stakeholdersTertiary qualifications in Hospitality / Event Management or related business education is advantageous
