Sales Merchandiser
Position OverviewAs a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for adjusting and setting shelves for merchandise in assigned retail stores. The Retail Merchandiser works both independently and as part of a team travelling to assigned retail stores to perform merchandise resets. The position requires some knowledge of setting and placing merchandise on the shelves including the use of plan-o-grams. In addition to setting shelves, must adjust and clean shelves for resets and communicate effectively with store managers and owners. The position requires covering routes, stocking and ordering of merchandise to support Service Sales as requested.

Job DescriptionPay is $17/per hourLocation: Pearl City, HI

Install, adjust and set shelves and move grocery products in retail stores throughout an assigned marketplacePlace and arrange merchandise on shelves using a layout or plan-o-gramCover routes as needed for Sales workers. Visit assigned stores to restock shelves and place orders to restock low supplyCollaborate with store representatives and/or supervisors; Solicit feedback to improve service and respond to requests for service and assistanceCreate & monitor freshness reports, rotate product based on set expiration scheduleSubmit weekly summary reports to manager: tasks completed for the week in storeOther special projects as assignedTravel Required: Yes

Special Skills : Strong customer service skills, basic math & reading skills required, ability to work independently and prioritize customer needsPhysical abilities: : Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand on feet for long periods of timeOther: Valid Driver's License; Maintain a Clear Driving Record. You are required to carry $500,000 single limit coverage, but we will accept $100,000/$300,000/$50,000 limits on the policy, if the single limit coverage is not available.

Years Of Experience

0-2: At least 6 months to 1 year of retail experience. Some experience in grocery or retail shelf management preferred.
