The Sales Office Manager effectively manages the Customer Service/Inside Sales team.

Main Responsibilities

Increases customer satisfaction based on customer needs. Achieves agreed upon performance indicators (KPIs) Leads, manages, and coordinates the customer service office team. Ensures compliance with group policies, all company procedures, and legislative requirements. Builds strong and proactive relationships with customers to generate growth opportunities and ensure the customer retention Manages and coordinates order performance against agreed goals. Ensures that pricing is correct and updated regularly. Monitors the proper use of company tools by his/her staff to ensure the accuracy of data in the company systems. Ensures that people on the team provide the appropriate support to officers and communicate effectively and regularly.

Working Method

Ensures that the Customer Service/Inside Sales department processes orders effectively and accurately Provides necessary support to the team and communicates with them on a regular basis Ensures that various business strategies are well understood by the customer service department Effectively manages all aspects of the customer complaints process Utilizes “salesforce.com” and other customer relationship management tools Plans and chairs regular team meetings Monitors staff performance against agreed goals Manages and motivates staff to ensure the effective functioning of the department. Interacts effectively and cooperatively with all other Univar departments such as supplier and product management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality & Regulatory, EHS, human resources, and IT

Requirements and experience

Master's degree in business or management engineering; Fluent English (written and spoken); Excellent knowledge of Office package (especially Excel); Remarkable interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills and problem solving; People management and performance aptitude.
