Sales Operations Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Sales Operations Analyst. This individual will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of systems, processes, and content related to sales support, customer portals, and internal information flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, content management, and process improvement. They should be proficient in using Excel, conducting root cause analysis, and improving systems to increase efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Data Management and Webshop Support

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requested customer updates are made in a timely manner.    Ensure customers’ websites are updated regularly, ensuring company products are up-to-date and accurately displayed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve internal issues related to product images, product listings and product specifications that we share with the customers we do business with.  Serve as the primary point of contact for Webshop, Morton Salt’s online ordering portal, related to customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues; develop and maintain clear, user-friendly training materials to guide customers in resolving common Webshop challenges

Process Improvement and Information Flow Management

Enhance internal systems, databases, and processes to improve information flow and accessibility across the marketing and sales teams.  Ensure content on the company’s internal Digital Asset Management system (CANTO) is current and aligns with marketing and sales objectives. Identify, Create, and Implement process improvements to increase efficiency in the sales cycle.

Excel Proficiency & Data Analysis

Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and identifying trends or issues related to sales performance and system efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and data discrepancies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related work experience, or 8-10 years of related work experience in lieu of degree. Technical Proficiency: Understanding of web content management systems (CMS), portals, and database management. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately update and manage customer information, product information and content across various platforms. Process Improvement: Experience identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions. Excel Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including the ability to perform data analysis, create reports, and generate insights. ERP and CRM Experience: Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Customer database.  Intermediate experience in using and or understanding of these platforms and their functionalities will be considered beneficial for this role. Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve operational and system-related issues effectively. Strong Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with updating and or maintaining data in system. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
