As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of end-to-end business processes and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines for the U.S. Apple Business segment, specifically within our Carrier B2B team. Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively and efficiently across multiple organizations. You will collaborate with Sales leadership, Finance, Legal, Order Management, Contracts, and other key partners. We ensure the Sales teams have the information and tools needed to achieve their goals. We do this by partnering cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Sales for operational excellence. Your primary responsibility is to be the trusted strategic business partner to the Business Sales Carrier B2B organization. You will partner in the areas of strategic planning, business partnering, and most importantly business insights and drivers. We are looking for a proactive and self-starter sales operations professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, and interpersonal skills. The position requires the ability to understand and work with complex data sets to drive insights. The individual will help influence, participate, create, and drive the weekly/monthly cadence: business reviews and develop the reporting packages that support the B2B sales initiatives. You will partner with our tools teams to create and design interactive and informative Tableau dashboards.DescriptionDescriptionYou will work closely with the Apple Business Carrier B2B and Channel sales teams to analyze business trends and provide executive updates. You will need to be able to communicate the results of complex analyses and projects optimally to senior management. You should be able to go deep to understand data elements to help support dynamic and sophisticated business needs. The candidate should feel comfortable dealing with complex & ambiguous situations.
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity. The development and tracking of key performance indicators will be critical to enhance the understanding of the business and to improve decision-making to drive improvements for sales and revenue generation. This role will standardize the tools, methodologies, and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency. - Assist sales management teams through full sales cycles with activities including the quote, special pricing, and deal tracking. - Design and present monthly/quarterly progress reports to partners with measurable sales goals. - Analyze business health, interpret key performance metrics, offer insight and drivers. - Partner with Carrier sales leaders to define, set up, and operationalize key processes, including sales reporting and analysis. - Drive input on reporting tool development (near term and long term).Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications7+ years of working experience in Sales operations, financial/business operations supporting B2B.Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in analyzing data with tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms.Sales Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of sales cycles, key metrics, and KPIs.Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization tools; Tableau dashboard design, development, and publishing.Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data handling and analysis.Ability to go deep to understand data and data elements to help support fast-paced and complex business needs.Proven track record of successfully understanding forecasting models that capture seasonality and trends.Key QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with sales, marketing, finance, and IT teams.Project Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.Business Acumen: Understanding broader business strategies and market trends.Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving processes, new tools, and shifting priorities.Prior experience within the Telco space or working as a partner with the carrierForecasting experience a plusBachelors Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.Education & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsPay & BenefitsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
