Your Role:

Tenable is seeking an Analytics Engineer for a dual role to design, develop and maintain the key data warehouse and analytics architecture dedicated to sales planning and sales performance analytics as well as administer key elements of our Clari implementation including ensuring relevant Databricks views are available for Clari dashboards, and maintaining key dashboards in the Clari platform, ensuring data alignment across Clari and the warehouse. The specialist will work strategically with sales operations and stakeholders throughout the company to ensure that relevant data is available for analytics needed to run our world class sales team.

Your Opportunity:

Databricks/Data Warehousing-related Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test and implement changes to data stores for both ongoing maintenance and future-state evolution of warehouseInvestigate issues and fix code as needed. Perform cross functional work with sales operations and IT professionals to research and document existing data architecture, table, and field definitionCommunicate priorities to BI analytics team to ensure that relevant and appropriate data is available for analysis and reportingWork with source system owners to ensure that data needs are reflected appropriately in source systems for use in warehouseRespond to ad hoc data requests that come with the normal course of business

Clari Platform Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for Clari, including troubleshooting and resolving issuesConfigure dashboards within Clari StudioSurface and connect Databricks views to Clari studio for ingestion into Clari StudioTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and clearly document technical requirements, processes, and solutions.Coordinate with enablement and sales teams on updates and enhancements to Clari platform to ensure adoption.  Influence business and technology stakeholders and Clari support to promote change to improve existing business processes and increase ROI using ClariMaintain audit process to proactively monitor data alignment between Clari and the Data Warehouse

What You’ll Need:

5 years of experience with in database development using SQL Server and familiarity with Databricks DB architectureData warehousing design, data analysis, migration strategies, data refresh strategies and data governance experience is requiredBe adept at data discovery, identifying the most appropriate source system data, and ability to work in an environment with limited documentationWork collaboratively within sales operations to define and implement data architecture strategiesAbility to profile and document data tables and field definitions in consumable formats accessible to operations teamsAbility to obtain Clari admin certification within 12 months of starting employment

And Ideally:

Familiarity with Clari’s platform and Clari StudioFamiliarity with common sales planning and sales performance analytics including sales KPIs and typical subscription data measures Familiarity with source systems like Salesforce, Netsuite, Anaplan, and XactlyGood working knowledge of TableauSome experience in application of AI/machine learning to sales analytics

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. US Pay Ranges$76,000—$101,333.33 USD
