About the Role
The Sales Operations and Transformation team at CG Japan will ensure efficient sales and account management through three main areas: Sales Operations, Sales Analytics, and Sales Transformation.
Sales Operations: Maintains the efficiency of all commercial aspects throughout a product's or project's lifecycle.
Sales Analytics: Provides data-driven insights for Sales and Program Management and collaborates with other Harman functions to create global solutions.
Sales Transformation: Manages cross-functional improvement projects and addresses challenges across all sales activities.
The team will possess strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills, working closely with stakeholders in CG Japan and the broader sales community. The role owner will also serve as the CG JP Transformation and Change Leader.
Your Team
In future, this position will lead a team of about 2 to 4 members, including sales assistants, sales analytics experts, sales controlling and sales administration support staff.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership:
Build and lead the Sales Operations and Transformation Team. Lead teams across multiple countries. Balance the workload across the team and assign priorities.Strategic Partnership:
Act as a strategic partner for the sales organization, providing insights and support. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify data analytics needs.Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operational support for sales and account management, sales analytics, and sales transformation.Lead cross-functional improvement and change management projects. Define and implement best practice standards, ensuring adoption across the team. Analyze existing sales operations processes, identify opportunities for improvement and standardization, and drive implementation.Data Analytics:
Develop and lead tailored data analytics solutions for the sales organization.Human Resources:
Execute HR cycle activities, including hiring, performance management, succession planning, coaching, and team training and development.What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields. At least 8+ years of experience in sales, program management, account management, or transformation management roles, with 5+ years in team leadership. Proven experience in managing transformation initiatives from start to finish. Strong understanding of sales processes. Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent both in Japanese and EnglishWhat is Nice to Have
Background in data analytics. Experience in process mapping, work instruction creation, and continuous improvement. Efficient and accurate information assimilation from various sources. Initiative-taking, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Tenacious, professional, flexible, and determined approach.
