A Sales Operations Coordinator provides senior sales staff/executives the necessary support to assist in the overall maintenance, growth and profitability of the business. In this role, the Sales Operations Coordinator enables and drives front line sales to sell better, faster, and more efficiently through critical individualized sales process support. The position requires critical thinking, clear communication, and strong organization and customer service skills. The Sales Operations Coordinator must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is high-energy, mission-driven, results-focused and community oriented. They will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure and to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage data for new and prospective clients in the sales database, ensuring all communications are actively logged and information is accurateAct as liaison between outside sales and customers by keeping in contact with prospective clients throughout the saleFollow-up with calls to prospective clients to provide additional product/services informationCreate CRM dashboards for assigned Sr. Risk Management Consultant/Executives and review/analyze metrics against set KPIsWork closely with supervisor to coach assigned sales staff and drive strategy and customer interfaces according to company strategy and goalsRemain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources to assist in accomplishing Company goalsDevelop individualized system for assigned sales team members with the goal to create sales efficiencies along with greater effectiveness of time and sales duties resulting in higher sales production of the Risk Management Consultant/sales executiveProactively identify bottlenecks in the customer facing sales process and generates solution options for presentation to supervisor for potential implementationComplete a broad variety of tasks for the assigned sales team members including: managing active calendars; sales activity support through salesforce, obtaining and processing expense receipts; composing and preparing client confidential correspondence; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetingsPrioritize conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressuresResearches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or responseDevelop business knowledge and depth of sales process understanding of assigned Sr. Risk Management Consultant/Executive to conduct independent reach-out to and follow up with advisors and clients without direction to drive the relationship to the next stepPlans, coordinates and ensures the Sr. Risk Management Consultant / Executive’s schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Executive's time and officeRequirements and Qualifications:
