Sales Operations Intern

Trane Technologies Internship Program provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. This internship opportunity is offered to candidates working towards their Bachelor's or Associate's degree and have an interest in Customer Experience or Sales.

This position will be on-site at our Residential Parts and Supply store located in Charlotte, NC. The role is designed to start in our internship program with the potential for continued part-time employment during the academic year, and evaluation for full-time positions upon graduation.

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Operations Intern you can expect experiences including:

Growing sales of Trane products and offerings through partnering with our customers to understand their needs. Engaging with customers both in person and over the phone, responding to inquiries recommending products and upselling opportunities. Providing exceptional service by effectively resolving customer’s problems and delivering solutions regarding HVAC parts and equipment issues. Learning the role and responsibilities of an account manager and assisting with servicing accounts. Executing quote and order management processes with accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery. Completing a capstone project and presenting to business leadership.  

Successful Candidate’s Profile:

Rapidly resolves problems to maximize customer satisfaction. Establishes courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as prioritizing tasks based on importance. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s program. Must have experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Minimum work experience: At least one internship or work experience Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects. Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary Information:

Base Pay: $20.50 - 23.50 We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
