Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview
The Sales Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily management, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the platform effectively supports the needs of the business. The successful candidate will lead a team of Salesforce professionals and collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Billing to drive alignment, enhance data integrity, and ensure the platform delivers a seamless, consistent, and efficient user experience.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a global Sales Operations team—including analysts, coordinators, and other support roles—to deliver against operational goals and strategic priorities.
Foster a data-driven, results-oriented culture across the sales organization, promoting accountability and performance excellence.
Design, streamline, and standardize sales processes to enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and improve the customer experience.
Identify bottlenecks within the sales funnel and implement targeted solutions to increase conversion rates.
Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize lead qualification processes, analyze campaign performance, and develop actionable dashboards and KPIs.
Leverage data and analytics to generate insights across client segments and product lines, identifying key value drivers and informing business decisions.
Collaborate with Finance and Billing teams to enhance Quote-to-Cash workflows, including the effective use of Salesforce CPQ.
Monitor sales pipeline health, ensuring data accuracy and enabling reliable forecasting.
Oversee data quality initiatives, including governance policies and execution of bulk data operations.
Design and manage sales compensation plans, commission structures, and incentive programs that align with company objectives and motivate performance.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to continuously refine sales strategies.
Own Salesforce.com policy development, ensuring platform governance, user compliance, and ongoing training.
Work in close partnership with Marketing to align demand generation activities with sales objectives.
Develop and distribute end-user communications summarizing the benefits and impacts of new deployments or enhancements.
Navigate complex challenges such as regulatory compliance, rapid market shifts, and the adoption of emerging technologies within the sales ecosystem.
Experience / Competences
Essential
Proven experience in Sales Operations, particularly with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Lightning Experience, demonstrating an ability to optimize sales processes and support revenue-generating teams.
Possesses a current Salesforce Administrator certification, with a strong understanding of platform capabilities, best practices, and user management.
Experience configuring and supporting Salesforce CPQ and/or billing modules, with a focus on enhancing Quote-to-Cash processes.
Comfortable operating at both a strategic level and hands-on with system configuration and process improvement; willing to roll up sleeves to get work done.
Highly organized with a proactive, self-starting attitude; able to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines without close supervision.
Enjoys working collaboratively across departments—such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal—to deliver aligned and effective operational support.
Recognised written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and to tailor messaging to a variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in high-growth, rapidly evolving business environments.
Demonstrates ethical conduct, professionalism, and alignment with company values in all interactions and responsibilities.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, to analyze data and present insights effectively.
Desired
Experience supporting or enabling a geographically dispersed or global sales team, with sensitivity to regional nuances and operational complexity.
Interest in and understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN) to better align Salesforce processes with commercial strategies.
Previous experience in a high-growth technology, data, or financial services company with rapidly scaling sales operations.
Additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist, or Sales Cloud Consultant would be beneficial.
Demonstrated analytical abilities with the curiosity and drive to identify inefficiencies, diagnose problems, and propose practical solutions.
Familiarity with formal project management methodologies or experience leading CRM-related implementation and enhancement projects.
