Sales Operations Manager

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

To ensure ongoing support of EM (Emerging Markets) Wholesale according to Global as well as EM best practice standards for realizing profitable market share growth and smooth interaction across all clusters.

Operational function within Emerging Market Wholesale along with project management and driving key initiatives into the market and clusters.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

To support Sales leadership with business updates and presentations, to participate in all internal strategic initiatives. Drive the roll-out, execution and consolidating of all Global and Market projects as well as standardizing and complexity reduction by scaling these projects to all regions / clusters. Ensure local reporting on defined with sales analytics KPI’s and share insights with relevant stakeholders; Identify deviations from targets and drive / recommend necessary changes. Be the expert for all Primary Data playbook related topics, Segmentation maintenance and upskilling clusters on customer classifications. Ensure a constant communication flow on status of the projects and initiatives to main stakeholders and other sales and/or project-related functions. Understand the Inventory positions in all clusters as well as the what’s causes changes. Monitor the performance of strategic initiatives within the scope of responsibility. Identify deviations from targets and recommend necessary changes. Drive and co-ordinate compliance of cluster teams and the consolidation of commercial policies from clusters. Support Clearance plans and ensure right reporting and forecasting is in place. Support re-shaping wholesale workstreams which will include SPOC for Customer Segmentation and ensuring consistent Customer Classification. Tasks and project will not be limited to responsibilities listed, could change according to channel demand and manager’s and Team’s discretion.

 

Key Relationships:

 

Global wholesale organization EM Commercial Channels leads, Cluster Commercial Channels Leads and Clusters Sales Co-ordination / Operations, Finance, IT, SCM, CTC and Brand teams. Key Wholesale and Franchise customers

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Strong influential skills and understanding of the organization Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage Structured, organized and with strong ability to prioritize. Drive integrity and compliance to ensure sustainability. Drive excellence on execution and a customer centric approach to build a sustainable business. Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing, negotiating and change management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

Advanced level understanding of Retail operations. Business Development / Retail / Finance exposure desired. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration. 3 years’ experience in large international sales and merchandising rolls, ideally in apparel/fashion/footwear. Sporting goods is a plus. Management experience.
