Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Operations Manager to join the Building Control Systems WattStopper Team in Richardson, TX. The Sales Operations Manager will oversee the sales planning, pricing management and sales program management functions. Works closely with the sales leadership and other cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of sales strategies and execution. Responsible for developing and implementing sales processes, tools and systems that enable sales efficiency and effectiveness.
What Will You Do?
Provides day to day operational leadership, guidance, development and motivation to assigned team to achieve superior results and accomplish overall business objectives. Documents best practices and brings passion to continuous improvement.Manages the Sales Operations team, including include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; driving accountability, addressing complaints, anticipating and resolving problems related to customer needs and expectations. Lead the sales planning process, including setting sales targets, quotas, territories and compensation plans.Manage the pricing strategy and policies across sales territories, including analyzing market trends, customer feedback, competitive intelligence and profitability.Work closely with marketing teams who own product pricing strategy to share pricing trends and identify areas of concern proactively.Design and execute sales programs and campaigns, such as incentives, promotions, contests and events, to drive sales performance and revenue growth.Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, such as sales pipeline, conversion rates, win/loss ratios, customer satisfaction and retention.Identify and resolve sales operational issues and challenges, such as data quality, process gaps, system errors and compliance risks.Provide sales support and training by sharing insights on regional sales trends, weaknesses and emerging opportunities using data analytics.Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, product and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of sales objectives and activities. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in high level executive support function.Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, financial planning and/or sales and marketing program management. Minimum of 3 years people management experience.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, systems and tools, such as CRM, Power BI, sales forecasting, pricing models and sales dashboards.Strong Excel and Excel-based modelling skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data and insights.Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
