Sales Operations Specialist

Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, the Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for data clean up, analysis, and reporting; aiding process improvements for the sales team, managing the sales inbox, and helping build processes for the commercial organization. The Sales Operations Specialist plans and implements projects that support the sales organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop strong rapport with the Sales team to support the same sales team sell more efficiently and effectively Organize and manage CRM (Salesforce.com) to ensure data quality, accuracy, and cleanliness Create and maintain reports and dashboards based on the needs of the sales organization Analyze and report on sales observations and findings, including developing strategic recommendations for commercial leadership Leverage insights gained from sales team members to provide feedback and direction to product management, and product marketing Maintain, enhance, and provide training for sales automation systems (e.g., Salesforce, Clari, SPIFF, Seismic, Ironclad), product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses Define strategic opportunities that can drive business in the long and short term Aid in administration and support of all key sales tools Investigate, respond, and resolve field sales data inquiries and ensure resolution is implemented in all systems and reports. Help define and disseminate new commercial team processes, tools, and programs

Preferred Qualifications

Excel in a fast-paced and dynamic landscape Minimum 3-5 years related experience in a Sales Operations capacity Knowledge of Biotech and Pharmaceutical Landscape a plus Strong attention to detail Technical and functional experience in Salesforce administration Solid analytical skills Effective project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive project results Infectious “get it done” attitude Ability to travel up to 25%

EDUCATION:  

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S) from a four-year college or university preferred in Biology or Business similar field.

The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range$113,000—$127,000 USD
