Job Purpose

The Sales Operation role is responsible for Sales systems process creation and development, analysis of sell in and sell out data via Power BI and Power Apps, for ensuring the effective development and operation of Sales call plans, processes and managed systems. The role holder ensures that the Sales systems are fit for purposes, maximize ROI with TE management and run effectively and provide user-friendly applications for the processing of daily business. The role holder is also responsible for maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders including business users, Mars DT and external 3rd parties.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage Sales processes and ensure effective operations:

AFS systems, BW tools, Esker and relevant tools;Full integration of all systems under Power BI platform, Leverage power apps & PowerPivot;Creation of sales out reports from distributors, Integration of Scan data from retailers;Standard and ad hoc sales reports, Daily Sales reports for direct customers and markets;Assortment: NPD, listing/delisting follow up, photos, scan planogram, samplingPromotion support: ID, Net Price calculation, rebates and redemption follow up;Trade Management and Forecast Management: Create the needed tools to enable TE mgm and Forecast;Solutions and systems for Pay for performance KPIs tracking and reconciliation with distributors;Monitor and review system performance to ensure system availability. Ensure appropriate action is taken in the event of service disruption;Lead systems reviews to support key technologies, making recommendations for future system development/improvement based on business user input;Oversee the implementation of new developments and ensure appropriate testing of newly developed modules or functions is conducted. Liaise with Mars IS or external 3rd parties as required in the development and implementation of system changes;

2. Collaboration with relevant teams from distributors/customers:

Meeting Consensus, Pre-DMR, team – Preparation: sell in – sell out analysis (ad hoc Nielsen) – Analysis;Oversee the day-to-day operation of the managed systems including the co-ordination, consultation and training on the technical;Give input for call plan improvement and track sales effectiveness (ROI);Develop and deliver user systems training and supporting documentation;Connect with Distributor or customers associates in order to deliver requests from business in terms of reporting, systems;Act as Subject Matter Expert/key point of contact for the business in regard to Sales systems and processes.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Field Sales within the FMCG sector;University degree or a relevant combination of education and work experience;Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Pivot, Excel, AFS and databases;Proficiency in English and the local language;Strong presentation and communication skills.
