As a Commercial Operations Supervisor, you will provide essential support to the sales team, ensuring seamless operations and facilitating the sales process. Your role will involve handling administrative tasks, testing sales demo instruments, coordinating and maintaining sales documentation.
This position reports to the Sr Commercial Operations Manager and is part of the Commercial Operations Team l ocated in San Jose, California and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Sales Demo instrument Support and Metrics: Management of instruments and accessories, testing and verification of functionality, ensuring on time shipment and recovery of instruments. Generate reports and data extracts to support sales activities, and provide insights based on data trends.
+ Fleet Program Management: build and manage fleet program policies. Generate and analyze reports on fleet performance, including maintenance, energy consumption, operational efficiency, and provide recommendations for improvements. Work with management to ensure that all vehicles and drivers comply with regulations
+ Data Systems Operations: Assist in data maintenance and management, including data cleansing, deduplication, and updating records as needed. Accurately input and update information, interactions, and transaction history in the data systems. Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all records are correct and up-to-date.
+ Commissions Operations: Provide support for company compensation plans and processes, including commissions calculations and systems support.
+ Process improvement: Continuously evaluate processes for potential improvements, recommending and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure that all processes are documented and current.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ BS/ BA degree, preferably in the Life Sciences, Business Administration, Data Management, or related field. MBA preferred
+ Demonstrated proficiency in SalesForce or similar CRM, Oracle. Experience with fleet management software and commissions software helpful.
+ Able to prepare demo instruments for sales presentations including lifting 40 pounds.
+ Must be objective and measurable, eg. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills and leadership skills.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time. Self-motivated and self-directed. Agility in dynamic situations and comfortable with change
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to lift 40 pounds for instrument testing.

The salary range for this role is $84,000.00 to $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
