This role, GOSO (Global Operations and Strategy Organization) - Sales Force Optimization Associate Consultant, will report to the GOSO SFO Sr. Manager and work within a team set up to provide critical capabilities for Lilly Value and Access (LVA). These capabilities may include Customer (HCP) and Account (HCO) Segmentation & Targeting, Size & structure for sales force & other roles such as MSL, KAM, FRM etc., Territory Alignment Design and Maintenance, Call planning and Refinement, Reporting, Measurement, KPI tracking etc.
Key accountabilities will include the following:
Collate & leverage information regarding the field force size, structure, performance, etc. for purposes of analyses.Use understanding of US Managed Markets & Payer landscape to conduct analyses on segmentation and targeting of accounts, hospitals, IDNs etc.Enable team to make informed decisions on changes related to Account & Geography coverage.Use data and reports to develop, optimize, and implement strategies aimed at improving teams’ performance Develop approaches to design and align territories, do resource sizing & structure, personnel placement etc.Setup recurring Tableau, Power BI reports to measure key KPIs related to performance of field force and other roles Automate excel-based operations to SQL/Python for improving processing turn-around time, and set-up quality assurance proceduresValidate data quality and accuracy of the results of existing processesUse new technology such as ML & Gen AI to analyse feedback surveys, other datasets to draw actionable insightsPresent these insights & results to key stakeholders for driving key business decisionsManage projects independently by performing tasks such as project planning & scoping, delegation, results read-out & feedback assimilationBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s DegreeEnsure compliance with company policies and any applicable state and federal marketing and promotion laws and regulationsAdditional Skills/Preferences:
BTech/ MBA with 3-6 years (Associate Consultant), 5-8 years (Sr. Associate Consultant) of experience in sales planning and management A good understanding of US Healthcare esp. around how payers and pharma work in US would be idealFamiliarity with US based pharma data sets including (but not restricted to) IQVIA, Veeva, Affiliation, etc., would be a plusKnowledge about Account datasets such as IQVIA, Symphony, MMIT etc.Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (BI, Tableau), Javelin suite of products, CRM systems, Veeva, SQL, AWS, and MS Office Excellent communication (written & verbal) and prioritization skills with attention to detailStrong learning agility & analytical mindsetHigh level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situationsKeen focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems, supported by strong analytical reasoningExperience in business analysisExperience working on SFE for multiple geographies would be a plusAdditional Information:
