What You Will Do
· Partner with account executives to provide technical and strategic expertise, helping to position data analytics and AI solutions effectively with customers.
· Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored recommendations to meet customer challenges and goals.
· Independently prospect, hunt, and qualify new opportunities within existing and new accounts, driving end-to-end sales execution.
· Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, create demos, and negotiate contracts that meet both client needs and company objectives.
· Be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in your accounts, as well as for meeting set growth targets for both Software and Services.
· Stay current on emerging trends in data analytics and AI to ensure our offerings remain competitive and innovative.
· Train and enable the broader sales team on best practices for selling analytics and AI solutions.
Performance Areas
· Increase Altair footprint at assigned accounts by matching Altair software portfolio with customers’ needs
· Identify and prioritize strategic long- and short-term activities to support account growth.
· Working closely with the sales and technical account team, act as specialist in the use and application of all Altair products with focus on Data Analytics, AI and Graph technology.
· Analyze customer’s technical needs, requirements, and current engineer workflows of customers.
· Proactively develop relationships and work with customers to qualify opportunities and propose solutions meeting the customer requirements.
· Be viewed by the customer as their primary point of contact for all technical activities including presales, technical support, consulting, and training.
· Coordinate pre- and post-sales support for Altair products, including evaluation, benchmarking, proof of concepts, and training in addition to performing some of these tasks within the Data product offering.
· Work with development teams to ensure customer needs are met and help prioritize and establish business needs for additional functionality.
· Manage the relationship with local experts and their involvement with A&D customers.
What You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications
· 7+ years of industry experience, ideally with data analysis and/or AI
· A great business mindset. Specifically, understand how Altair can create value for the customer and how to create revenue for Altair based on that.
· Excellent ability to establish, develop and maintain business relationships on executive level.
· The skills to develop and execute strategies and tactics to achieve set sales targets.
· To take full responsibility for meeting your set growth targets.
· Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
· Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites across Europe.
· Citizenship of a EU Country or UK
· Willingness to work on military assignments · Fluent communication skills in French and English
Preferred Experience and Requirements
· Specific Aerospace and Defense industry experience
· Passion for Aerospace and Defense
· 3+ years of experience with Data tools
· Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management
