Sales Process Lead

Job Description The Sales Process Lead optimizes sales enablement processes to eliminate systemic barriers and accelerate deal execution. Working across teams like Sales Services, Partner Management, RevOps, Finance/Billing, Network Planning, Tech Migration, and AI Research, this role improves workflows, manages sales escalations, and drives automation of manual, high-friction tasks.
Key responsibilities include documenting sales workflows, identifying gaps, leading continuous improvements, and coordinating with Billing, Legal, and Network teams to ensure smooth pre- to post-sales transitions. The role manages an escalation queue to prioritize and resolve blockers within agreed SLAs.
The Sales Process Lead also defines and monitors KPIs such as contract cycle time and billing accuracy, reporting regularly to stakeholders. Collaborating with Tech Migration and AI teams, this role advances digitization and automation efforts to boost efficiency and business outcomes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Process Mapping & Optimization – Document existing sales enablement workflows, identify gaps, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Cross‑Functional Liaison – Collaborate with Billing, Legal, and Network teams (Core & Broadband) to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities, with a specific focus on Billing handoffs.

3. Issue Triage & Escalation – Manage an escalation queue by prioritizing critical blockers and driving timely resolution within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

4. Governance & Metrics – Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as contract cycle time, order-to-bill lead time, and first-pass billing accuracy; prepare and deliver monthly performance reports.

5. Change Enablement – Work closely with the Tech Migration Project Manager and AI Researcher to identify opportunities for automation and digitization of high-friction process steps.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3 years experience in sales operations, business process management, or managing cross-functional programs.

Demonstrated success in managing workflows, resolving issues, and engaging stakeholders within a fast-paced sales or business environment.

Proficiency with CRM systems or sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is required.

Strong data skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, dashboarding tools, and process workflow or diagramming applications (e.g., Draw.io, FigJam, Confluence).

Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Solid program management capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and confident—across both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience in triage and escalation management within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and resolve blockers within established response times.
