Job Summary

The Sales Process Manager is a high value-add business partner to the sales organization. This position will work closely with the VP of Sales, selling team and other cross-functional stakeholders to support processes & strategies that drive sales effectiveness and create process improvement. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, possesses strong project management and communication skills, and works well with a diverse team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

Work closely with the VP of Sales and other stakeholders to drive programs, execute business strategy, and lead sales initiatives. Lead and manage key initiatives and strategic projects across the organization. This may include overseeing large, cross-functional projects and bringing together diverse stakeholders to drive decision-making processes. Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and serve as the primary point of contact for Sales to troubleshoot and problem solve challenges with internal functions. Coordinates communication between sales department, marketing and other sales- focused departments Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities (internal and syndicated data), to provide key stakeholders with recommendations and insights to improve performance. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Collaborate with Sales to understand their reporting needs and provide them with actionable, data-driven insights to support their decision-making processes. Provide regular updates to the Sales team on projects that impact customers, including key achievements, challenges, and next steps. Coordinate development of Business Reviews with Key Customers with an objective to build volume & profit utilizing sales & marketing data to support recommendations. Analyzes & tracks expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements (ISE Tracking, 3rd party, Reclaim) Facilitate meetings and lead report out & tracking of key next steps. Independent project management MOC sales support

Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree, preferred, or minimum of 5-7 year of relevant experience required, ideally experience in CPG/Food Industry.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives. Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes. Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Professionally flexible, with an ability to flex between tactical and strategic work Highly collaborative but possess the ability to work independently Ability to work effectively with vertical levels of key stakeholders (VP, Sr Sales Directors, RSM’s) Highly developed analytical skills (Circana, PowerBI, etc.) with an ability to analyze and identify issues and opportunities.  Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (advanced excel & ppt ideal) Detailed oriented
