The sales process owner will support the channel partner team by developing channel sales processes that support the channel sales organisation, including testing and rolling out the processes, and working with the business to support business operations, at the same time the sales process owner will be responsible for developing a future vision for channel operations. **Responsibilities** · Manage the design, optimisation and maintenance of all sales processes and policies for the global sales organisation (Channel specific, but may share processes with the Direct team) · Work with stakeholder groups across the business to build the associated technology roadmap for the end-to-end digitalisation of the sales process and channel management process · Process simplification - decrease the complexity of channel centric operational processes delivering more consistent/common, consolidated and integrated processes across the business · Drive productivity through process and platform enablement with the goal of increasing sales velocity, productivity and customer intimacy **Skills & Qualifications** · Expert in sales process definition (especially channel processes), process ownership and process optimisation across the Lead to Order or Lead to Cash domain in a global organisation · Good understanding of leading sales methodologies including both qualification and behavioural methods (e.g. MEDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, BANT etc) · Track record of Defining, owning and embedding consistent CRM processes across a global sales organisation · Strong process excellence skills & experience – e.g. Process Mapping, Lean, Six Sigma · Strong understanding and execution experience in new process modelling methods such as design thinking, innovation and storyboarding · Change management – Ability to assess the change impacts of process change and process automation across the sales, contract, fulfilment and customer service communities · Best practice – adopt practices and procedures closer to relevant industry best practices; where possible and when they are consistent with other business priorities · Strong CRM Domain Knowledge including sales cloud, master data management, contact management, configure, price and quote, incentive compensation management, sales cycle administration, analytics and reporting, digital signatures, contract lifecycle management etc. **AVEVA requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
