Destiny Packaging, a rapidly expanding company within the Bunzl Agriculture Group, is seeking a highly motivated **Sales Representative** with a proven track record in sales and a desire to elevate their career. The primary focus will be on creating, developing, and driving flexible packaging sales within the following target markets: Produce Industry, Frozen Food Industry, and Bread and Bakery Industry.
As part of this role, the Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and targeting new business opportunities, developing and executing effective sales strategies, and maximizing revenue and market share. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, conducting regular visits and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, and promptly addressing and resolving customer complaints and inquiries are key aspects of the position.
Additionally, the role involves working with vendors to source new and existing products that meet customer demands, staying informed about product innovations and market trends, and collaborating effectively with other team members to drive customer results.
_Destiny's salary range is $65k-$85k base, plus commission based on experience, education and geographic location_

**_Responsibilities:_**
Identify and Target New Accounts
+ Research and identify potential new customers in the following target markets: Produce Flexible or Rigid Packaging, Frozen Food Flexible or Folding Carton Packaging, Bread and Bakery Flexible Packaging.
+ Develop strategies to approach and secure new business opportunities within these markets or onboard existing book of business.
Build and Develop Customer Relationships
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
+ Conduct regular visits and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
+ Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
Drive Sales Growth
+ Create and implement sales plans to achieve company sales targets and goals.
+ Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
+ Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
Handle Customer Inquiries and Complaints
+ Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive customer experience.
+ Work closely with the customer service team to handle inquiries and provide accurate information.
Collaborate with Vendors and Team Members
+ Work with vendors to source new and existing products that meet customer demands.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall team objectives and goals.
**_Requirements:_**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required
+ College graduate with a degree in packaging preferred.
+ Minimum of $3 million in existing book of business within the flexible packaging industry.
+ At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the flexible packaging industry.
+ Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and goals.
+ Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
+ Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
+ Experience in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing excellent customer service.
+ In-depth understanding of the target markets: Produce re-packers, Shippers, Food Processors, and Distribution Accounts.
+ Knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to present and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to analyze sales performance, market data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
