About The Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a passionate Senior Account Manager to join the team.

The senior Account Manager will be primarily focused on driving new business development processes across Victoria. You will be required to work with existing key accounts to retain and deliver profitable growth in line with the business commercial performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creation and implementation of new business development plans within the Distribution, Healthcare and Hospitality sector.Focus on sales growth execution and sales target achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise and market intelligence.Developing rapport with key customers and customer groups in the distribution market.Evaluate the current and emerging customer needs and assess the effectiveness of the current healthcare business to develop and meet AOP targets.Support key marketing and new product programs (NPU’S).Gain business at targeted new accounts within pricing / margin guidelines.Evaluate key competitor activities. Analyse effectiveness and prepare defensive strategic ploys.Develop business relationships with key decision makers.Create and manage tender presentations and documentation.Implement team customer training and education training programs.Sales reporting and updating databases using Salesforce or other CRM systems.

 About you

Ideally you will have the following attributes and experience to be successful within this role:

Demonstrated experience in a similar role.Degree within business or sales – preferredCertification in chemical handling – preferred.Experience within hospitality and or healthcare – preferable.Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce – essential.Senior B2B experience – essential.A background in sales and business development with proven ability to develop, manage, tract and close sales and pipeline opportunities.Ability to interpret financial data and budgets.Valid Australian driver’s license – essential.Computer literacy and efficient in all Microsoft Office Programs.
