Sales Representative – Commercial Flooring
Our client, a national leader in polymer coatings installation, concrete refurbishment, and polishing for commercial and industrial facilities, is looking for a Sales Representative to join their growing team in Calgary.
Responsibilities:
Plans and manages a new business territory – evaluating the account base and the competitive presence Develops and deploys a strategy to sell to new customers and building on existing relationships with the objective of being the supplier of choice to customers for their industrial flooring needs Consults as a subject matter expert, presenting the value proposition to executive level decision makers Aligns client business objectives with the entire portfolio of offerings Perform customer site audits to obtain all required information for pricing purposes Develops proposals using company pricing and contract assembly tools Manage projects, including costing ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting Attend and fully participate in all company meetings and provide up to date information as requested to the executive team members Demonstrate the values and principles of the company, and model the behaviors expected within its culture Improve brand awareness and customer satisfaction Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices Fosters and maintains cross-functional relationships with management, peers, support personnel, and clientsRequirements:
5+ years of sales experience with a strong business development record within flooring, construction, industrial, or building materials experience is preferred Strong communication and listening skills Resilience and the ability to handle rejection Time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and remotely Willingness to travel within the assigned regionRemuneration:
Remuneration for this role consists of a base salary of 70-75K plus uncapped commission-OTE first year 120+, car allowance, benefits, home based office, and great potential for growth into a senior leadership role.
