Overview

The Sales Representative – Residential Designer Trade Program will be responsible for actively expanding Humanscale’s Residential Trade Program. This entry-level sales role focuses on engaging interior designers who are often members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) to join our trade program.  This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a premium brand in the residential design market. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work with a talented and dynamic group while developing your sales and relationship management skills in a vibrant industry.

****This role requires 3 days in the office per week at either our New York City or Greenwood Village, CO location****

Responsibilities Prospect and Outreach: Proactively approach interior designers via phone and email to promote and sign them up for the Residential Trade Program.Collaboration: Work closely with regional retail Sales Representatives to identify and target qualified leads. The regional retail Sales Representatives will be responsible for consulting the interior designers on our products.Cold Calling: Engage in outbound cold calling to build a pipeline of interested designers and ensure program growth.Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, ensuring ongoing participation and engagement in the program.Program Promotion: Communicate the benefits and value of the Residential Designer Trade Program to prospective members, utilizing provided marketing materials and resources.Data Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, signed members, and feedback in CRM systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent career experience1-3 years’ experience in the interior design industry and professional organizations such as ASID Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), persuasive selling ability, and self-motivationResults-driven, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionAbility to travel regionally on occasionWhile prior sales or customer-facing experience is preferred, enthusiasm for design and a willingness to learn is essential.

Hourly Range: $29.96 - $43.69
