**Sales Representative, job overview**
ITW Nexus Global is seeking a dedicated Sales Representative to assist our sales team in selling innovative plastic buckles and accessories used on backpacks, luggage, helmets, and flotation devices. ITW Nexus Global is based in Des Plaines Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining current customers, while finding new customers by understanding their challenges and needs. The successful candidate will help identify new product opportunities for customers, as well as highlight the use of existing products for customers. The successful candidate will assist in marketing the latest products, develop leads, and foster sales opportunities by utilizing in-person visits and online communications.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Engage prospects via in person travel, email, and message potential customers to generate sales.
+ Follow up with customers to gauge their satisfaction and build customer relationships.
+ Firsthand marketing and presentations for individual customers-to explain product benefits/advantages over those of our competitors.
+ Study details of our new products and gain familiarity with our target audience to facilitate strong interaction with current and potential customers.
+ Demonstrate authenticity and the ability to build relationships with potential customers.
+ Meet or surpass goals in the following sales categories, outreach, lead development, and/or product sales.
+ The successful candidate must be available for night calls with Asia as well as multiple trips to Asia.
+ Occasional weekend travel required.
**Job qualifications**
+ Ability to quickly immerse oneself in the details of new and existing products.
+ Excellent communication and people skills to engage with customers, ability to listen, build rapport, assess customer needs, and quickly adjust a sales pitch to the changing dynamics of a customer interaction.
+ Solid time management skills.
+ Personal use and understanding of outdoor products such as Backpacks, Tents, Hiking, Skiing and any other outdoor related recreational experience preferred but not required.
+ Strong understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
+ Minimum 2- years of outside sales experience preferred, inside sales experience may be considered.
+ Sales experience in the Outdoors industry is a plus but not required.
+ Ability to use basic photo editing software a positive, but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical fields preferred, but appropriate job experience may be a substitute for
**Compensation Information:**
$65.000-$76,000 per anum
