**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Market the company’s products and services to existing and new clients with a view to selling our standard products, services and value-added products in the territory and surrounding areas of the greater Montreal area
**WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Safety: Understand and apply the safety culture promoted at the company.
+ Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
+ Collaborate with the project manager to strengthen safe working conditions on construction sites.
+ Manage a set of more than 150 clients, including tracking the order book, contact details, project prospects, and following up on submissions.
+ Develop prospecting and action plans for each client.
+ Visit clients and negotiate prices within the guidelines established by management.
+ Analyze the needs of each client through customer discovery activities such as: solicitation, visits, relationship-building events etc.
+ Prepare summaries of submitted financial and pricing information for clients and projects to be used in supervisor decision making.
+ Collaborate with operations, quality and logistics departments to ensure the timely availability of quality products.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree
+ **Field of Study Preferred:** marketing, in business management, in economics, in communication or in civil engineering technology.
+ **Required Work Experience:** Solid sales experience of 5 to 10 years, demonstrated by proven performance histories.
+ **Required Technical Skills:**
+ In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, more than five (5) years in a sales and/or related
+ position in the sales department.
+ Experience in the use of customer relationship management (CRM) software – preferably Salesforce.
+ Knowledge of asphalt products and soil, concrete, brick and asphalt deposits (desirable or asset).
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Basic knowledge of sales and psychological techniques.
+ Bilingualism an asset (French and English).
+ Valid driver’s license and clear driver abstract.
+ Travel Requirements: 25%

+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
