Sales Representative

The following are the duties and responsibilities:

Makes the appropriate brands available in all outlets thereby achieving sales volume per brand targets. 

Improves GSMI Market Share, Penetration and Availability. 

Follows scheduled itinerary strictly and ensure compliance on “No Skip Outlet” policy (all outlets in the itinerary must be visited and served regularly). 

Opens new outlets and penetrate push brands within his area of coverage. Increase Directly Served Outlets by penetrating minimum of 600 outlets per route. 

Taps Routing Wholesalers that will complement the route. 

Ensures proper implementation of Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of GSMI Products. 

Merchandises all outlets to help push sales – installation of posters, window talkers and shelves display. 

Processes and delivers orders of outlets (retailers and small wholesalers) 

Liquidates daily sales transactions and remits collections thru accurate route sales report 

Ensures quality extension of credit thru one-up, one-down approach. 

Monitors strictly Accounts Receivable extensions to avoid high occurrence of past due accounts. 

Ensures to deliver the right quantity and quality of products at the right place, at the right time, all the time. 

Effectively contain competitor’s activities by reporting those activities to his supervisors. 

Determines localized sales promotion activities for his outlets, special events needs of his community and coordinates/recommends to sales management for support. 

Implements and monitors regularly TPM/Territory/Marketing initiated sales promotions at the outlet level 

Attends to customer inquiries and coordinates with sales management for support and provides customer requirements and services 

Safeguards cash and stocks from pilferage. 

Submits to management all required reports (e.g. masterlist of outlets, schedule / list of itinerary, penetration and availability monitoring, competitors activities, etc.). 

Turn over route coverage to the assigned dealer before the end of the project.
